AEDT · Panel
Every senior leader is under pressure to show that AI spend translates to business value, but the path from investment to measurable outcomes is rarely linear. This panel brings together executives to share unfiltered perspectives on how they are defining, measuring, and communicating success for AI at the enterprise level, holding their organizations accountable to results, and making the tough call on when to double down, pivot, or walk away. From navigating board expectations and financial scrutiny to recalibrating strategy when pilots don't deliver, panelists will discuss what it genuinely takes to turn AI ambition into sustained competitive advantage. This is not a conversation about technology. It is about leadership, accountability, and the strategic choices that separate AI leaders from AI laggards.
Working on now
In his current role at Just Better Care, Andy is focused on enhancing digital solutions to better serve community care clients and streamline operational processes, ensuring high-quality service delivery
About
<p>Andy Luiskandl leads whole-of-business transformation at Just Better Care, a national in-home aged care and disability support network. He is also a non-executive director and Treasurer at Allambie Heights Village, a not-for-profit retirement living and aged care provider, giving him a provider's view of aged care reform. Andy has 32 years in technology, 18 of them as CIO, mostly in health, care and community services. Born in Vienna, he started at Coca-Cola before moving to Sydney, where he led digital transformation in consumer goods and founded and exited Asia-Pacific's first cloud-based business performance, risk and quality management platform. He has since led technology at The Smith Family, InvoCare, Only About Children, Greencross and Pacific Smiles. At Greencross he brought in Heidi AI, saving vets 3-4 hours of after-hours paperwork a week. For Andy, it's personal: growing up with his family's experience of serious illness shaped his focus on technology and governance that serve patients, families and carers.
