Dr. Bikalpa Neupane is an AI executive, researcher, and educator with deep technical expertise in enterprise AI strategy, Agentic AI, and Natural Language Processing. As Head of AI / Agentic AI at Takeda, he leads enterprise-wide AI transformation, model governance, and MLOps infrastructure, driving high-impact solutions across commercial, R&D, and manufacturing operations. Previously, he led NLU product units at IBM Watson and founded an AI marketplace startup. Holding a Ph.D. in Informatics (AI & HCI) from Penn State University, Dr. Neupane also teaches graduate-level data science and NLP courses at Harvard Extension School and Penn State.
