<p>Masaru Hashimoto, Ph.D., is an accomplished quantitative executive with over two decades of expertise in financial engineering, statistics, and advanced analytics. He currently serves as Chief Data Officer and Corporate Vice President at Prudential Holdings of Japan, where he designs and executes enterprise-wide data science and AI product strategies.</p><p>Previously, Dr. Hashimoto spent over nine years at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as Head of Data Science and Data Governance, building multi-disciplinary teams and developing sophisticated predictive models for financial planning, risk, and customer metrics. His extensive background spans quantitative research, algorithmic trading strategy, and risk management at premier institutions including PwC, Thomson Reuters, and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Statistics and Operations Management) from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.</p>
